I just got rid of a bunch of marginal pieces in my gallery and now I'm adding a new one. Oh, well... It is not the London Strand, but it bears a more than passing resemblance to London's Embankment. But it isn't that either, just a scene from an imaginary place.

Lovely!! Wonderful! It brings back fond memories! I love that you leave a lot to the imagination of the viewer, by leaving out unnessesary details.

Thanks for you comments, including the one on the now gone and painted over Forest Creek piece. (I must learn to wait a day or two to post pieces that I've not make up my mind about...) I paint with fairly big brushes to keep me from trying to put in too much detail, and I generally paint from imagination, and it ain't good enough to supply a lot of details to paint...
