The Painting of the week. I like painting, as in pushing paint abound on a board. Painting "pictures" not so much. And I generally dislike trying to paint something that actually exists. The paintings I enjoy most are like this one where I start painting, and then, at some point, decide what I'm painting and sort of make it look like that. In this piece the initial idea was "winter in the lane" but, as I went along it seemed to be more of a night scene so I went with that.
