This scene has a bit more color and warmer toned compared to the last scene I posted. I like it better.
I find it easier to paint leafless trees than leafed ones in this style, but I find that you have to be careful not to use too many branches -- less than most actual trees otherwise they get too busy. I think I'm pretty close to just right with this one, compared to my first watercolor in this series where I put in too many branches. You will also notice that I try to hide my tree trunks when ever possible. I don't like painting them, for some reason.
