Description
18x24" 45x60cm acrylic on hardboard
Painted this is my 'thin' style or technique; i.e. I brushed the paint with a wide brush that does not have a lot of paint on the brush and since the acrylic paint dries fast when thin, I can go over what I've painted often with new paint, trying this and that. I paint different pictures different ways, which seems to make sense to me: one size doesn't fit all, so to speak, but on the other hand, I must admit that all my paintings bear a family resemblance in the end no matter how I actually paint them.

The "Gauze-filter effect" reminds of late 19 century paintings or some holiday paintings that crop up during the season, really nice painting tho Chuck!
