Nocturne No. 1

The first in a new planned series of nocturnes in the city. I'm using a stiff round brush with short strokes to give these paintings a different look and feel. Right now I'm doing smaller studies, searching for the color of night. Just used one of my stock scenes for this first one, as color and technique is my focus. This nocturne in blues is a bit cool for my taste.
