12x16" 30x40cm acrylic on hardboard
This is a pretty accidental Archipelago of the Three Lovers painting. I was exploring a different way of painting (using textured acrylic medium and thin washes) with nothing much in mind. However when ever I tried to pin it down to an actual scene it just seemed wrong. So I just modified the paint pattern I had into this scene.
